I Saw That On Tik Tok...
I don’t know about you, but every day I scroll through YouTube to try and find an interesting video to put on while I make breakfast and walk the dog. Which I’m positive like me, you’re always hit by some sort of new “bio-hack,” fitness/health supplement or device that will finally get you to your goals, or some influencer that rolled out of bed at 10am telling you how to optimize your morning.
Before I move on with my point…
Bio-hacks are not a thing. Even taking in external hormones (i.e., testosterone, etc.) still has its tradeoffs regardless of what article or study you “researched.”
Supplements are only as beneficial as a deficiency filler or minor performance enhancer. Stop relying on them. Gadgets are cool, but like supplements, they wont be a shortcut to anything, nor are many of them that reliable in terms of meaningful benefits.
The 20 year old or 50 year old influencer is not your pal. If they push any “absolutes” or “must dos” they’re full of shit, and move on. And there is no better morning routine than just making sure you go to bed at a decent time and try to wake up roughly the same time everyday, and drink some water before your coffee.
Also… can we lose this idea of trying to live forever or look as young as possible up until the inevitable day that we die?
Stress less about it, exercise and eat whole foods more, and hang out with people you enjoy being around.
And I’m not trying to lecture you, in short, it just really grinds my gears… if you know what I mean.
I feel like there is so much nonsense out there with social media and big corporations trying to sell you the latest greatest supplement or device that will basically “help you skip the line.”

Unfortunately, as of right now, there are no shortcuts. At least not feasible ones.
I don’t mean to be so stern or “doom and gloom,” but I really do feel like misinformation is becoming a massive issue. Especially with the influx of professionals making social media accounts and basing their loose interpretations of studies they may or may not have actually read, while also using tons of anecdotal “evidence.”
I myself use a lot of experience for my bases, along with things I learn from research. The issue is, even if someone is pulling solely from research, that also can be flawed.
What I’m trying to get at is that we need to really start implementing our common sense when listening and following strangers online.
I will never expect you to trust me 100% without question or speculation. I do my best to use real-world application, study, and understanding when I give my clients and people around me advice. But I will never claim that you must take, use, or do anything, because that isn’t real.
Take what someone shows you in a 30 second clip with a grain of salt always. Edits, AI, and retakes are all extremely common. And there is no miracle supplement, drug, or gizmo that beats:
Regular Exercise
Enough Sleep
Water and Whole Foods
People and Hobbies You Enjoy
Everything else is just extra for whatever you’re shooting for.

If something promises extreme results with minimal effort, it’s usually selling convenience; not progress.
Do the boring things well, consistently.
